About
Youmans is a pop artist, songwriter, and cinematic world-builder whose music turns longing into mythology.
Born in Santa Cruz and based in Los Angeles, his work blends funk-pop, deep house, folk, and soul into emotionally charged, visually driven storytelling. For the dreamers. For the soft-hearted. For anyone still searching for something they can’t name but know they’ll feel.
His debut EP Electric Love Connection is more than a collection of songs, it’s a universe. A shimmering, memory-soaked love letter to grief, glamour, queerness, and becoming. Praised for its lush harmonies, fashion-forward visuals, and mythic emotionality, the project earned him the West Hollywood Artist Grant in 2024.
In 2025, his breakout single DANSE was featured in Poker Face (Peacock, Season 2, Episode 11), starring Natasha Lyonne. The EP’s fan favorite Too Close blends funky pulsing synths with raw vulnerability, while Summer Love closes the project with a soaring, harmony-rich tribute to grief and connection.
A lifelong performer, Youmans began guitar at age 5, studied music at UC Berkeley, and earned the prestigious Eisner Prize for exceptional creative achievement. But his true artistry was forged not in institutions, but in feeling, writing through heartbreak, healing through sound, and building an emotional world that others could live inside.
Today, Youmans leads a growing global fanbase known as the Electric Dreamers, drawn to his softness, sincerity, and magnetic presence. His immersive universe includes the Electric Love Lounge (TikTok livestreams and Discord), and Club Electric (live shows), where music becomes ritual and connection becomes culture.
This isn’t just pop. This is the deeper dream. And it’s only just beginning.
