About
Most people don’t come here looking for music.
They come here because something inside them knows they were meant for a bigger life. The songs are simply how we begin. Everything that follows exists for one reason: to help people remember who they are.
Youmans is a pop artist, songwriter, and cinematic world-builder whose work turns longing into mythology and personal transformation into pop music.
Born in Santa Cruz and based in Los Angeles, he creates emotionally resonant, visually striking work for the dreamers, the feelers, and the people who refuse to disappear inside a smaller version of themselves. His work lives at the intersection of music, storytelling, creative direction, fashion, live experience, and community, all pointed toward the same purpose: creating experiences that help people remember who they are.
His debut EP, Electric Love Connection, is more than a collection of songs. It is a memory-soaked universe exploring longing, grief, glamour, queerness, self-respect, and becoming. Blending pop, funk, disco, house, folk, and soul, the project transforms lived experience into cinematic music that invites listeners to recognize pieces of themselves. EARMILK praised the record as “a glittering testament to pop’s transformative power.”
A lifelong performer, Youmans began playing guitar at five, performing at seven, and later studied music at UC Berkeley, where he received the Eisner Prize for exceptional creative achievement. But his artistry was forged as much through life as through training: coming out, moving to Los Angeles, surviving heartbreak, losing one of his closest friends in the Oakland Ghost Ship fire, teaching yoga, building community, and discovering that the stories which transform us most often become the songs we are meant to write.
In 2025, his single “DANSE” was featured in Poker Face on Peacock, introducing his work to a wider audience. Across songs like “Too Close,” “Heart of a Lie,” “Draw the Line,” “Make Things Right,” and “Summer Love,” he explores the moments that ask us whether we will keep abandoning ourselves or finally choose the life we know we are meant to live.
Today, Youmans is building the Electric Love Lounge, an evolving artistic world where music, storytelling, visuals, fashion, live experiences, and community become expressions of the same artistic practice. Some are sung. Others are spoken, visual, physical, or communal. All exist for the same reason: to help people feel more alive, more honest, and more connected to the person they have always known they could be.
This is not just pop. This is Electric Love.
This is the deeper dream.
